We are recruiting for the European Headquarter of a global player in medical devices located in Germany. Our client is one of the worldwide leading suppliers for monitoring and diagnostic. The product portfolio includes best-in-class technologies for ultrasound, magnetic resonance, diagnostic ECG, clinical informatics, computed tomography, radiography, nuclear medicine, emergency and hospital care. The Position:

• You are responsible for the design, installation and testing of the connection of CIS, LIS, RIS etc. system interfaces via the Rhapsody HL7 broker system to a patient data management system
• You are advising the project teams towards the requirement sets regarding specs, budget, time frame and quality of performance anywhere except the USA and Canada
• You are ensuring that both you and the technical consultant organization are always up to date in terms of the newest healthcare IT integration technology
• You are going to stay in close cooperation with multiple international onsite project management teams and customers while operating by remote
• You are acting as a liason contact person between cluster/project teams, the business unit, the headquarters and 3rd party system suppliers with partner status
• You are contributing to product definitions, are identifying needs within development and support organizations and advise them in complex situations within your field of expertise
• You are providing your team and project members with the necessary documentation according to good coding standards
• You are supporting your peers to ensure that integration projects are done according to quality standards

Your Profile:

• You gained a solid background in the field of ITC engineering with corresponding practical experience
• You have a detailed and profound understanding of healthcare IT integration namely HL7 and even better you are already used to DICOM, JAVA and database handling in complex network infrastructures and know the Rhapsody HL7 broker system
• You have shown in the past successfully that you are up to complex challenges within the field of IHE
• You are a creative, goal oriented, hands-on, self dependent and self motivated person with a go-to guy attitude
• You are well structured and enjoying teamwork in an international and dynamic team
• You are used to work from remote and to document your work carefully
• Your career steps should be characterized by reasonable minimum stays and success in comparable tasks
• You are fluent in English and travling (10% of the time) on-site and getting in touch with the project teams and customers goes without saying for you
