We are recruiting for the European Headquarter of a global player in medical devices located in Germany. Our client is one of the worldwide leading suppliers for monitoring and diagnostic. The product portfolio includes best-in-class technologies for ultrasound, magnetic resonance, diagnostic ECG, clinical informatics, computed tomography, radiography, nuclear medicine, emergency and hospital care. About 120,000 employees worldwide realize a turnover of several billion Euro.

The Position:

• You are providing the technical lead for networking issues in hospitals within the field of Patient Monitoring
• You are responsible for the technical integration consultancy for networking issues in support of the local IT project teams in all channels everywhere except the USA and Canada
• Your have to ensure that both you and the technical consultant organization are always up to date in terms of the newest network solution technology
• You develop the network solution trainings for the technical consultants to ensure that they are able to manage the requirement sets regarding specs, budget, time frame and quality
• You are responsible for the special network trainings for the sales & services personnel and specialized IT trainings for the group IT unit to spread best practices within the organization
• You are identifying and analyzing market trends or technical innovations concerning networking opportunities and generate and maintain innovative solutions
• You use your contacts and knowledge to support the definition of new product or solution requirements linked to actual and future business
• You are supporting new product or solution roll-outs

Your Profile:

• You gained at least five years of experience in field of networking and obtained certificates like CCNA or better CCNP
• You hold a degree in informatics, biomedical, engineering or can rely on comparable experience as a qualified IT expert in the networking business
• You have shown in the past successfully that you are able to assess the infrastructure in site surveys, develop solutions that fit the customer needs and instruct the project teams accordingly
• You are a creative, goal oriented, hands-on, self dependent and self motivated person with a go-to guy attitude
• You are well structured and enjoying teamwork in a young, international and dynamic team
• You have a willingness to travel up to 60% to 70%
• Your career steps should be characterized by reasonable minimum stays and success in comparable tasks
• You are fluent in English - another language is a plus
