We are recruiting for the European Headquarter of a global player in medical devices located in Germany. Our client is one of the worldwide leading suppliers for monitoring and diagnostic. The product portfolio includes best-in-class technologies for ultrasound, magnetic resonance, diagnostic ECG, clinical informatics, computed tomography, radiography, nuclear medicine, emergency and hospital care. About 120,000 employees worldwide realize a turnover of several billions Euro.

The Position:

  • You are responsible for the fit of the current and future product requirements to the different sales and marketing needs of the region (UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, BeNeLux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland)
  • You ensure a competitive positioning and strategy to the clusters/regions and identify geographical trends and emerging technologies in the field of Patient Monitoring
  • You identify and become an expert of specific applications or modalities and develop a detailed knowledge about the market segments that present business opportunities
  • You develop and maintain high-level contacts with the main opinion leaders in the addressed markets and create a system of reference for the company
  • As part of your network and relationship management you use your contacts within clinics and research facilities to develop and manage advisory panels
  • You collect and analyze competitive price data and use this for the succesful positioning in pricing rounds
  • You are cooperating closely with the International Sales & Marketing Consultants, with MarCom and the Training Department to support the training and education of direct sales forces as well as distributor sales forces and for identifying market potentials
  • You consult the Product Management regarding market-specific opportunities for certain products while reviewing and advising based on your cluster/region on product plans to maximize the business fit in the market segments
  • You are making the difference as a key contributor in strategic deals
  • You propose innovative solutions which are not addressed by the Business Units product portfolio by evaluating and advising upon possible acquisitions, joint development programs, OEM's and strategic partnerships
  • You are going to manage our customer visit program

Your Profile:

  • You gained sales and marketing experience within an international company in the field of medical devices for hospital business - preferable in the Patient Monitoring business
  • You know the challenges of sales and market development in an international surrounding and already mastered these successfully
  • You have knowledge about the relevant international markets in Europe and about processes and structures in clinics
  • You are able to negotiate and to conduct product presentations on a high level as well as using your very good communication skills to conclude transactions
  • You are a creative, goal oriented, self dependent and self motivated person
  • You are well structured and enjoying teamwork
  • You understand traveling (50%) as a natural part of your job
  • Your career steps should be characterized by reasonable minimum stays and success in comparable tasks
  • You are fluent in English and German - another language is a plus
