Our Client is a German-American Company based in North Rhine - Westphalia in Germany. It is a global leader in healthcare technology and innovation with a mission of helping patients maintain and restore the hearts natural functions. With 1.500 employees is our client one of the fastest growing medical device companies in the world. The Production site is also at the companys headquarter in Germany. In order to further expand the positive market position in cardiac surgery und cardiology on a European Level, we are looking for a manager for the reimbursement and market access team.

The Position

• You lead a team of reimbursement specialists in EMEA as well as external consultants and expand the area
• You are the interface to the governmental agencies & payers within Europe and in particular Germany
• You are responsible for developing market access strategies, including alignment with pricing on a European level
• You develop and optimize reimbursement programs and tools for sales and customers
• You and your team analyze the customer needs with a focus on the coding (ICD, DRG etc.), document reimbursement refusals and implement the corresponding strategies
• You and your team carry out reviews with customers quarterly
• You make sure health economic aspects and payer perspectives are including into business plans, marketing plans and materials.

Your Profile

• You have a master degree or higher in medical field, business, economics or finance
• You can prove your success in establishing reimbursement and improving reimbursement for innovative medical devices or new therapies in major EU markets
• You are inspired to work within a fast-paced, fast-growing organization
• You have strong communication and leadership skills
• You are ready to travel (50% - 70%)
• You can speak English fluently, other european languages desired
